I was very pleased to hear that Chaos Software was about to give a special V-Ray hands-on training, so I decided to take part. Although it´s not cheap I´ve to say that it´s really worth it. I´m working with V-Ray for a while now and I can handle the renderer quite well, I think. But all the tips and tricks available at the internet didn´t really help me to understand what´s going on behind the scenes. The nice people from Chaos Software did a very good job. They explained nearly every parameter and its effect within the engine and on the output result. Every question in-between was kindly answered and if you have a certain problem they´ll help out with a solution you understand. From what I´ve learned at the training day, I´m now able to optimize my settings efficiently and furthermore shorten render times significantly. I can highly recommend this to anyone who is new to V-Ray as well as anybody who needs to keep visual quality whilst saving time – in other words: where time is money. So the price for the training definitely pays off afterwards.

The training really helped us to get in depth knowledge of the V-Ray render software and speed up our workflow. We now know why there is a change in effect if we change a setting, instead of just finding out trough trial and error. It was also great to visit the public event and witness the new pathtracing methods and SP3 improvements.

If you want to work efficiently with V-Ray you need this training from Vlado
and Rusko. It´s the best and the shortest way to understand how V-Ray works.
You can ask directly and this is the best way to learn a new software.
Alongside the training I was writing more than 12 pages. The smallest but
the most helpfully guide for me now.
Keep in mind, when you work with the new knowledge, you getting for
yourself new questions which are based on the praxis. For this I think it
would be very good to refresh the whole stuff again.
Finally, if someone is interested in this training, some experience in
basic usage of vray is very helpful.

The V-Ray training course was excellent. It provided an in-depth explanation of many features that I previously had not used or been aware of.
The information was presented and explained in a clear, smooth and educative way.
It was a real pleasure to spend the weekend with the people behind this fantastic render engine..
