  • Silestone -- Commercial

    Hello there,

Wanted to share my last work: a 60" TV commercial for the brand Silestone.

The funny thing is the lack of agency here so i had to suggest and finally made the whole creative process up from the very initial concept to the end.

As for the tech details goes: all are full-cg shots made with 3dsmax, Vray, AE and edited with Premiere as usual.

I really hope you like it. C&C welcome, of course.

    Title: 'Above Everything Else'
    Agency: N/A - direct client
    Client: Grupo Cosentino
    Product: Worktop
    Brand: Silestone
    Production company: The Mushroom Company
    Director/DoP/Art direction/Post/Editor: Alex Roman
    Original idea/Concept: Alex Roman
Additional CGI: Juan Ángel García Martinez
    Music: ZipZap Music
    Spot TV 60"

    Cheers,
    A.

            very very inspiring and motivating!

no wonder that there is lack of agency when they have you!

Great work! Totally inspiring, if you don't mind to answer a few questions...

-Can you please share what gi methods and aa settings you use in your projects as they all are looking very sharp and immaculate...
-Is the depth of field and motion blur added in ae or vray? If ae are you using any additional plugins?

I hope I am not asking too much,

              Keep up the excellent work...

Damn! I just wanted to post one of my pieces - Now I've got to wait for at least two weeks! You don't want to be showing off any work after a post like this one!

It goes without saying that this is amazing. I would also be very interested in some workflow details on this one, including the question about DOF and Moblur, which has already been asked, and what plugins were used for fragmentation, fluids, smoke, etc...

                    Amazing piece once again.

I got say that Silestone rly sucks. Its a beautiful material yeh, but it breaks quite easly.
Ive had a lot of customer complains about this mat in kitchens cause they start breaking quite easly when you drop something in it - without any strength. Rly depends on the reference mat and application ofc.
My kitchen manufactor recently told me that we will never sell a kitchen with silestone again - too much headaches.

i am trying to guess how the crystal structure and mats were done.... a real mind bender

my hobby is gem hunting, i go to fields and rocks quite often to find agates, crystals and stuff and i have to say that you have managed to absolutelly match the natures imperfections !!!

I'm blown away with this! Especially the mineral, and tomato part. Those materials are more realistic than real world!
