  • Vraynormal vs. Normal bump

Is there much of a difference between the two of these? I can't seem to find anything about normal mapping on spot3d.

If the vray version is much better, is there a decent way to combine a normal map and a bump map like with the normal bump? (Comp tex maybe?)

I have also noticed some slight differences, though both can work from my tests so far. I'm a bit unsure why Vray needed it's own normal map slot (not that I'm against it) and I wanted to make sure I'm using it in the right way. No info in the help about it however makes it hard to be sure.

Because the regular one doesn't work for proxies.

Oh, I didn't knew that so far because there is no explanation on manual page and I didn't use normalmap+proxy.
            Thanks.
