  • Two Pontiac Commercials

    Hey guys:

Just wanted to show you two new commercials we did:

    http://www.swaystudio.com/Sway_Mine_SpyHunter_QT.htm#

I was the VFX sup on them. They were both done in full HD and are 100% CG. We had a small team of 14 people and only 6 weeks for both spots done at the same time. All done in Max and Vray and Nuke.

The spy hunter video has to be one of the best car commercials I have seen on a long time. Love the theme, came out very cool!

I don't have a plugin for it, is there a direct download link? I can put it into mplayer then.

This is fantastic! The car animations look really nice, are they done with plugins (craft?) or are they custom rigs?

                  Kudos!

Very nice work! The 2D to 3D transition on Spy Hunter is very sweet! Brings back memories of my old Commodore 64

We have our own car simulator that has been developed for many many years. It is IMHO far beyond anything out there. For this commericial we tweaked and added traction control and ABS. We even added torque steer. So no keyframes were done for the car animations. It was all simulated.

Is that 14 people purely production, or do you count AM's and admin in this as well? I'd love to know a rough breakdown of how it's structured...
