V-Ray Roadshow in Germany 2008

Chaos Software is inviting everyone to the first V-Ray Roadshow ever to be organized jointly with all of our esteemed resellers in Germany.

The Roadshow will begin in Munich on November 17 and will close in Duesseldorf on December 8. Please check out the table below with the list of events.

In each of the cities covered by the Roadshow, there will be a day for an open public V-Ray demo session. At least one day will be reserved for a paid hands-on seminar. In those cities, where clients show sufficient interest a second day seminar will be organized. For this reason we will need as much feedback as possible to make all the appropriate arrangements.

The prices for the hand-on seminars are:
- participation in a single-day seminar = EUR 800.00 per person
- participation in a two-day seminar = EUR 1000.00 total for both days per person

1. New features in V-Ray 1.5 SP3
2. V-Ray interactive raytracing technology demo
3. Selecting the global illumination engines based on scene type
4. Set up of the light cache global illumination method
5. Animation rendering for static scenes and scenes with moving objects
6. Set up of image based lighting with the V-Ray dome light and rendering of computer-generated objects against an existing photographic plate
7. Baking textures with V-Ray
8. Rendering of translucent materials with sub-surface scattering
9. Differences between V-Ray image samplers
10. Color mapping and tone adjustment in the V-Ray VFB
11. Set up of daylight scenes, including VRaySun, VRaySky, VRayPhysicalCamera
12. Set up of photon-mapped caustics based on scene scale and units
13. Using the VRayBlendMtl material for creating metallic paint materials
14. Using the VRayProxy object for rendering scenes with a lot of geometric detail
15. Using V-Ray displacement efficiently
