Introducing wikihuman.org

We would like to officially announce the wikihuman.org site. This is the start of an ongoing project by the Digital Human League (DHL). Our mission for this project is to study, understand, and most importantly share our knowledge of digital humans.

The content of the site will be supplied by members of the DHL. They will be sharing their knowledge and ideas on the subject as well as their findings with respect to digital humans. The goal of the project is to open source the findings so the community can share and learn from it in the same way and give people an opportunity to contribute back to the project.

Besides actively working on a digital human, DHL members are also contributing their findings and ideas, and any problems related to the subject, such as understanding the uncanny valley. Members have also contributed a list of white papers related to the research they are doing.

Feel free to share your thoughts as the wikihuman project grows.
