Yes. Chaos offers special discounts for educational institutions. These include public and private universities, colleges, junior colleges, elementary, middle schools, high schools, and technical schools.
We offer progressive volume discounts, as well as discounts on other Chaos products. With progressive volume discounts, it’s easier for institutions to scale up their V-Ray licenses and still meet their budgeting needs. In addition, we offer discounts when combined with other Chaos products for even greater flexibility in the classroom.

Yes. We offer 2 and 3-year licenses with additional discounts.
Yes. Educational institutions can purchase licenses for their students. Volume and multi-platform discounts will be applied according to the Pricing policy for Education.
Yes. We have a special offer for students and educators on all Chaos educational products.
No. Student licenses are fully functional and don’t have watermarks, however they are only to be used for non-profit work.
Yes. To qualify for student discount pricing, you need to be enrolled in an academic degree program and submit proof of student status.
No. Students are eligible to purchase 1 license per product with the student discount.
No. As per policy students are not eligible for additional render nodes.
No. Student licenses are only available to active students who can provide proof of student status.
Training Centers are welcome to apply for the Chaos Authorized Training Center (CG ATC) program. The ATC program has been created for commercial training companies who operate their own training business in top rate facilities, offering high quality V-Ray training. You’ll be able to market your company as an official Chaos Training Center partner, and take advantage of the benefits included in the program. You also get access to 10 V-Ray Education Collection licenses and special discounts on additional purchases. Commercial training companies who operate their own training business and conduct V-Ray training as part of their programs, or host V-Ray dedicated short or long-term programs, are eligible to buy CG ATC Pack after a short approval process. To join the CG ATC program, you need to employ at least one experienced V-Ray instructor, who will be licensed as an official V-Ray Licensed Trainer, after completing a short evaluation process.
Yes. V-Ray Education Collection licenses are offered as part of the CG ATC program. After completing the CG ATC application process you will receive access to the latest V-Ray products. Chaos educational licenses provide the same functionality as commercial ones, but can only be used for educational purposes, and should not be used for commercial (for-profit) work.

A VLT is a high-profile V-Ray educator who teaches students and trainees at a Chaos Authorized Training Center. V-Ray Licensed Trainers must complete a short evaluation process to be granted the VLT badge and deliver certified V-Ray courses.

It is recommended that you have at least one to two years of working experience with V-Ray in your preferred 3D platform and at least one year of professional teaching experience
Please fill in the CG ATC application form to apply for CG ATC and VLT certification. If you work at an already Chaos Authorized Training Center, please contact your Account Manager for more information.
VCP stands for V-Ray Certified Professional. VCP is a personal certification option developed for freelancers who would like proof of their level of V-Ray knowledge. To take the V-Ray Certification Exam, you’ll need to visit a Chaos Authorized Training Center. Upon successful completion, you’ll be awarded a VCP certificate.

No. You’ll need to get in contact with an authorized center close to you. They’ll give you information on their exam session availability.
VCP certification does not expire, and is specific to the V-Ray product you were tested in.

Yes, you can directly apply for a VCP certification by contacting one of our Chaos Authorized Training Centers.
Results are provided directly via email after the VCP exam submission.
Upon successful completion of the V-Ray Certification Exam, you’ll be issued with a VCP Certificate, supplied as a PDF and be promoted on V-Ray Certified Professionals (VCP) list.
