Chaos Group’s V-Ray for SketchUp courseware is designed to help educators focus on what they do best. We provide proven, customizable resources and guidance to accommodate every level of teaching V-Ray.

Our courseware is entirely workflow based, so students learn important features in the context of a final image. We include easy-to-follow video tutorials, and all related scenes and assets, for practice assignments.

Lesson 1 - An introduction to basic illumination, shading, and render settings while creating a simple image.

Lesson 2 - Daytime and nighttime exterior renders. Find out how to use V-Ray Fur and Proxies, Sun and Sky, Dome light, and Camera to create realistic images.

Lesson 3 - Use V-Ray Sun, Dome light, Portal lights, and Global Illumination to create a daytime, and a nighttime interior images.

Lesson 4 – Discover how V-Ray Materials can bring imagery to life, including Library Materials, Generic V-Ray Material, and Emissive material.

Lesson 5 – All the rest! Caustics, Clipper, Diagrammatic Materials, Material Wrapper.
