Legendary gathering CG Event returns to Moscow returns this winter — and Chaos Group will be there. Join presenter Vlad Akhtyrsky for exclusive insight into how V-Ray for Nuke helped "Spider-Man: Far From Home’s" visuals possible, as well as broader analysis of hard compositing in blockbuster production.
CG Event attracts thousands of professionals from around Russia to find out about the latest in the CG industry. Among this year’s hugely impressive lineup you’ll find V-Ray Mentor Alexander Bakushkin from Softline Group, who’ll demonstrate V-Ray Next for 3ds Max, update 2’s new features as well as the ease and speed of rendering in the cloud.
This year at CG Event Moscow 2018 we’re hosting something extra special: our very own Render Next Sessions room. Presentations will be dedicated to the Chaos universe and will include special announcements, product demonstrations and masterclasses. Visitors can also enjoy a main stage presentation by Academy Award-winning Vladimir “Vlado” Koylazov, Chaos Group’s CTO and the driving force behind V-Ray.
It is always in December and we always come to the CG Event loaded with a year-load of news and presentations. Since recently we started another tradition - bringing along some of the most eagerly expected Main Stage speakers. This year we held on to a special surprise to the last - Pixomondo's Max Riess will draw on his huge experience as matte painter, compositor and VFX supervisor to bring everyone into the creation process of complex shots for Game of Thrones, The Fate of the Furious, Wonder Woman and other projects.
Yet we will not stop there, bringing Adam Hotovy onstage along CG Specialist Kalina Panteleeva for V-Ray:Next - our favourite way of sharing groundbreaking news with the CG Event attendees. And several of them - announced for the first time in the world. Finally, Kalina will finally host in Moscow her V-Ray GPU-focused masterclass, which premiered at CG Event Piter.

Autodesk’s University event heads to Moscow for two days dedicated to BIM and generative design. We’ve called on Alexander Bakushkin, head of the Media and Entertainment Department at Softline Group, to give a presentation on how architects and 3D artists can work together across V-Ray for Revit and V-Ray for 3ds Max. And our Russian distributor CSD will highlight the latest V-Ray for Revit features at their booth.
Chaos Group team have prepared accordingly and are poised to bring some ground-breaking announcements and hot news from the V-Ray world.
On the main stage Kalina Panteleeva will have an hour for her V-Ray: Next, focusing on Chaos Group’s dedication to the bleeding edge of innovation in visualization technologies and the resulting product development and expected releases. She will follow-up with an exclusive workshop for everyone, who wants to learn the tips, tricks and benefits of working with V-Ray RT on GPU.

The two instalments in Moscow and Saint Petersburg will stray from the presentation and success stories format and feature series of extended masterclasses, covering the major architecture and design platforms. At both events Chaos Group’s CG Specialist Kalina Panteleeva will share advanced tips and tricks on how V-Ray can produce images of the highest quality in 3ds Max, SketchUp, and Revit, and discuss the exciting roadmap for V-Ray products.

Since 2015, Autodesk University Russia adopted a new format – a day of executive round tables and meetings, followed by a day of online seminars and presentations for technical specialists on 6th October. Our Russian partner CSD will join the event actively, also demonstrating the power of V-Ray 3 for Revit for the BIM specialists in a special webinar.

CG Event, Russia’s biggest meeting of CG specialists, just turned 10 and it will finally have its long-awaited edition in St Petersburg this June.
We’ll be there with two exclusive presentations on the latest in V-Ray.
Chaos Group’s CG Specialist Kalina Panteleeva will dive in the depths of our latest feature in V-Ray 3.4 for 3ds Max and Maya – the CPU and GPU accelerated Denoiser.
She will then turn to the Bulgarian Village project, and go through the tricky and exciting process of creating all its unique creatures and features.
With over 100 presentations, this year’s CG Event is a fantastic opportunity for CG professionals in Russia to connect. We’ll be there with V-Ray for NUKE and a special presentation on VR in V-Ray.
VFX wizard Shahin Toosi (The Dark Knight, Captain America) will demonstrate how V-Ray for NUKE is changing the way compositors work.
