Improved workflow

Maximum creative control, minimum effort.

New Asset Editor

Create, edit, save and manage your V-Ray materials all in one place with the new Asset Editor. New advanced materials give designers even more control to fine-tune their designs.

Appearance Manager

Take your Revit renders to the Next level. With the Appearance Manager, you can set basic Revit assets to automatically switch to more realistic V-Ray assets at render time.

Randomize Proxy objects

Add variety to scene entourage, such as plants and trees, by randomizing the scale and rotation of V-Ray Proxy and V-Ray Scene instances.

V-Ray Scene linking

Link render-ready V-Ray scene (.vrscene) files from your favorite V-Ray applications — complete with geometry, lights and materials.

New background image settings

Environment lighting and background image settings are now intuitively controlled from the same dialog for even greater efficiency.

HDR position indicators

New HDR position indicators simplify rotating the environment lighting and background image to match your scene’s north direction and camera.

Select camera focus

Set your camera focus in a flash. Just select an object in the Revit 3D view and it will render — in focus — in the V-Ray Frame Buffer.

New lens effects

Add an extra touch of photorealism with real-world camera lens effects, such as Bloom and Glare, for credible, ultra-realistic renders.

Save renders to Revit project

Want to save imagery from your WIP renders? You can now save renders to your Revit project directly from the V-Ray Frame Buffer.

New channels

Choose from many new channels to get more control over your rendered images in compositing. All channels are grouped and organized to make it easy to work with them.

Enhanced Revit integration

Natural, streamlined design workflow that leaves more room for design.

Revit Decals

You can now add images to paintings, signs, screens and much more. V-Ray Next for Revit adds full support for Revit Decals.

Settings and work-sharing

V-Ray settings are now stored within your Revit files, so it’s easy to adopt and share the same render settings across teams and projects.

New toolbar

A new toolbar in V-Ray Next for Revit includes new features and redesigned icons for an all-improved user experience.

Scene Intelligence

Smart & fast lighting for significantly improved interior scene setup.

Adaptive Dome Light

Render image-based lighting even faster with the new Adaptive Dome Light. It’s exceptionally fast for interiors and can speed up renders by up to 2X.

Auto Exposure and White Balance

It’s as simple as point-and-shoot. The V-Ray Physical Camera can now set the correct camera exposure and white balance automatically.

Optimized performance

Render 2x faster on both CPU and GPU.

Faster rendering

Want to render 2x faster? On average, V-Ray Next for Revit has been optimized to render twice as fast as the previous version.

Improved GPU rendering

Optimized multi-GPU performance, new Bucket rendering plus support for more production features make V-Ray GPU faster and more powerful.

GPU-accelerated atmospheric effects

You can now render exceptionally fast atmospheric effects, such as fog and aerial perspective, with the added speed of V-Ray GPU.

Improved Denoising

A new NVIDIA AI Denoiser removes noise in an instant. It also supports denoising individual render channels to simplify compositing.
