“Illumination” student rendering challenge launched




Your chance to shine: Show us your lighting expertise, and you could win some fantastic prizes, including V-Ray and Corona licenses, Chaos Cloud credits and more.

The Chaos Group student rendering challenge is now live — and this year, we’re inviting you to get creative with lighting.

Your subject could be anything from a realistic CG character to an astounding arch-viz project; we just want you to demonstrate eye-catching lighting setups.

As well as having your time in the spotlight, we’ve got some great prizes on offer, including V-Ray and Corona licenses, Chaos Cloud credits, artwork reviews from industry professionals and much more.

You’ve got until November 30, 2020, to enter.

You will need to be a student enrolled in an accredited program or course, and you have to use V-Ray or Corona to render your entry. If you don’t already have the software, you can download trials here:
